PRESS RELEASES AFCEA's Homeland Security Conference Focuses On "Building on Progress...A Promising Future"Conference Addresses Federal, State, and Local IT Issues For Immediate Release February 19, 2008 Fairfax, VA - AFCEA’s seventh annual Homeland Security Conference returns to the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center, Washington, D.C., February 27-28, 2008. The Conference will focus on “Building on Progress… A Promising Future” and is unique because it explores the IT issues surrounding homeland security. Attendees include government and industry IT professionals, CIOs, and program managers involved in operations, policy and procurement.
Eight track sessions will address border security; national capital region readiness and response; geospatial solutions; major event security; role of other federal agencies in Homeland Security; information and intelligence-sharing, and doing business with the Department of Homeland Security.
