10:45 a.m. – 12:00 noon SESSION ONE: CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROTECTION - INTELLIGENCE PARTNERSHIP The majority of the nation’s critical infrastructure is owned and operated by the private sector. Nonetheless, the dire consequences of an assault against any of the infrastructure components have led the federal government to take a leadership role in protecting it. In the end, though, both the public and private sectors have a shared responsibility in this mission. To enable this partnership, effective information/intelligence sharing is essential. This session will assess the state of this cooperation from both the public and private sector perspectives. Panelists will share progress, challenges, and their view of priorities for the future of this critical mission.
